Yet MTV had a spur track off of its main line of music videos. (With those now being shunted onto their other cable railroads, erhm, channels. If you can even get to them.)
That other direction was animation, which hit its brilliant height with the magnificently cynical but insightful "Daria." Yet that passenger train has itself long been given up {sigh} ... nothing but "reality"-show freight traffic. Gaaack!
